What are assistants?
An assistant (normally the team captain) can enter results on behalf of the League Administrator.
How many assistants can a team have?
A team can have 1 or more assistants. A person can be an assistant for 1 or more teams.
How do I become an assistant?
To become an assistant the League Administrator will need to send you an email invitation. The email will contain all the information you will need to become an assistant, including a registration link.
Can I use my existing Fantastar account?
Yes. If you are already a registered user then you can use your existing account. When you register as an assistant your active role will be Assistant.
I am also a Manager. How do I switch between roles?
When you log in there is some text at the top of the page: 'Your active role is: xxxx'. Next to the text is a 'Show all my roles' link. Clicking on this link will display a page containing a list of all your Fantastar roles. You can change your active role for the session by clicking on the 'Set' button for the appropriate role.

The default role is the role that is active by default when you log in next time. You may change your default role from this page as well.
I am an Assistant for more than one league. How do I switch between them?
When you log in there is some text at the top of the page: 'Your active league is: xxxx'. Next to the text is a 'Show all my leagues' link. Clicking on this link will display a page containing a list of all your leagues. You can change your active league for the session by clicking on the 'Set' button for the appropriate league.

The default league is the league that is active by default when you are in your Assistant role. You may change your default league from this page as well.
How do I enter results?
Go to the 'Fixtures/Results' tab. Click the link at the top of the page to add a new fixture. Once a fixture has been added then click on the fixture to display the 'Fixture Details' page. From here it is possible to add the individual scorers for the fixture.
How do I update a result?
Go to the 'Fixtures/Results' tab. Click on the fixture to display the 'Fixture Details' page. From here it is possible to update the individual scorers for the fixture.
How do I remove a result?
Go to the 'Fixtures/Results' tab. Click 'Remove' next to the fixture from the 'Processed Fixtures' list to display the 'Remove Fixture' page. Click confirm to remove the fixture.
How do I undo my changes?
You can undo any changes up until the results are processed, typcally this is performed overnight. Click the appropriate Undo link next to the fixture from the 'Fixture to be Processed' list to display the 'Undo Fixture' page. Click confirm to undo the fixture. Note: This will undo any changes since the fixture was last processed.
Who approves the result?
The League Administrator approves the result. Any changes made by an assistant will need to be approved before they can be processed.
How do I add a note to a fixture?
Go to the 'Fixtures/Results' tab. Click 'View' next to the fixture to display the the 'Fixture Notes' page. From here it is possible to view existing notes and add a new note to the fixture.
How do I make player changes?
Adding\update\removing players from the league is a League Administrator activity to avoid any mistakes being made. If an assistant needs to make any player changes such as adding a new player they should use the notes feature e.g. 'Add new player, John Smith, Midfield, he scored 2 goals'. How do I contact the league administrator?
From the 'Fixtures/Results' tab click on the link at the top of the page relating to contacting the League Administrator. Fill in the required fields and clicking 'Send' will send an email to the administrator of the league.
